Aunque es verdad que este chip pudiera ser más caro que otros, también es cierto que su caracterÃstica de ser 100% reprogramable lo hace una opción segura para quien quiere gastar una sola vez sin tener que abrir la máquina para instalar otro.
Habrá que ver si los obstáculos que está poniendo NINTENDO a los chipeadores afectan su adopción de parte de los usuarios.
